"We used your product on all our tomatoes at transplant time and are harvesting the best crop we ever had. I used 1/4 cup in a 2-foot-diameter transplant hole mixed in with the backfilled soil. No additional fertilizer was used after transplanting. Plants are healthy, larger than ever, and the root systems are incredible. I have started taking some of the plants out and the roots are triple the size of past years'.

The Smart Gardener's Choice: MycoMinerals™ Garden Fertilizer

MycoMinerals™ Garden Fertilizer contains useful amounts of every essential element except N, and that important component is provided by its mycorrhizae-inoculated roots' activity. growing tomatoesBy comparison, synthetic plant foods are often sold as "complete" or "balanced" fertilizers because they contain N-P-K elements. This is nothing more than marketing puffery: The most hyped plant foods contain only those three elements, or at most, an additional few of the other 16 essential nutrient elements.

The recommended application rate of MycoMinerals™ for vegetable or flower beds is 1 lb. per 50 sq.ft., blended into the top 6-8" of soil. Mix 1/2 lb. (about a cup) into a cubic foot of potting soil.

For best results, use only dry organic fertilizers such as pelleted fish if you want some gradual-release nitrogen. Fast-acting synthetic fertilizers may actually weaken plant performance by harming beneficial soil organisms.

Adding a well decomposed compost (not cheap bagged materials) is also recommended if soil organic levels are extremely low. After initial soil set up, we suggest limiting further tillage as a good cultural practice. Don't disturb the soil life. A fresh scattering of MycoMinerals™ Garden Fertilizer every year with a mulch covering will maintain good soil health and fertility.
